Welcome to Laboratory Medicine, Karolinska institute, in building L2 and L7 at the Karolinska hospital on the premises of the Karolinska laboratory, KS-Lab.

Laboratory Medicine includes the academic disciplines of clinical chemistry and coagulation research, clinical immunology and transfusion medicine, clinical microbiology, and clinical pharmacology, all of which are integrated with the corresponding clinical laboratories of the hospital. This close association between the medical school of the Karolinska institute and the Karolinska hospital laboratories reflects the key position of laboratory medicine at the heart of our medical diagnostic facilities.
