Project titles:

Experimental and clinical studies of cellular markers of activation of the hemostatic system. In collaboration with Dept of Clinical Immunology, MD Joachim Lundahl.

Changes in hemostatic variables in women with coronary heart disease. In collaboration with MD Karin Schenk-Gustavsson and MD Margita Eriksson.

Methodology:

Cellular markers are mainly measured by means of flowfluoro cytometry.

Methods for platelet aggregation and immunochemical methods are also used.

A new collaborator will join our laboratory in January 1997, MD Jan Svensson.
His main interest is platelet function and prostaglandins.
