Welcome to the HOME-page of the Clinical microbiology laboratory at the University hospital of Karolinska.

In laboratory medicine, academic participants, research and teaching are integrated with clinical laboratory activities at the university hospital. This feature facilitates the rapid introduction of new diagnostic methods from basic sciences to clinical routine tests.

Clinical microbiology at Karolinska is an accredited laboratory according to european standard EN 45001.
